Alright, so what is this Nanaimo Infusion?
Earlier this year, Nanaimo local (and now viral sensation!) Tod Maffin took to TikTok with a simple idea, inviting our Southern Neighbours to spend a weekend in Nanaimo, support local businesses, and soak up everything our city has to offer.
What happened next? The internet did its thing. Within just 72 hours, over two thousand Americans had signed up to visit!
Now, from April 25–27, Nanaimo’s businesses and community are ready to roll out the welcome mat. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or a proud local excited to join in, this weekend is set to be one for the books.
Picture this: incredible eats, lively pubs, handcrafted local treasures, stunning coastal views, and, of course, plenty of Nanaimo Bars. Our community is ready to show off the best of what we’ve got.
