Chief Operations Officer
Contact Angela to: Request information on Tourism Nanaimo Society operations and administration, access tourism statistical information, inquire about invoices, and discuss Tourism Nanaimo services. Reach out for accounting or finance-related questions, including billing and payments.
Business Development
Gina Bethell (she/her)
Business Development Manager
Contact Gina to: Participate in familiarization tours for meeting planners, receive bid preparation assistance, and access hosting consultations for meetings and conferences.
Sydney Solland (she/her)
Sport Tourism Coordinator

Ambassador program
Our volunteer program is an integral part of the Tourism Nanaimo team, designed to enhance the visitor experience and support the delivery of exceptional services. This program recruits, trains, and engages community members who are passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Nanaimo with our visitors. They support special events, meetings and conferences, and front line visitor services when needed.
Recruitment for our ambassadors is year round, and we’re incredibly proud of this program, that bring passionate community members to the forefront of sharing Nanaimo with all walks of life.
