SNUNEYMUXW DAYS

July 24-26, 2026

Join Snuneymuxw First Nation for a vibrant weekend of celebration, culture, and community at Snuneymuxw Days!

Everyone is invited for heart-pounding war canoe races, soccer tournament, basketball tournament, lahal (Bone Game), marketplace magic, kids zone, and a Friday Night Feast and Jam Night. Come as you are, you'll fit right in!

CELEBRATING SACRED LANDS, WATERS, AND EACH OTHER

The festivities kick off Friday with heart-pounding war canoe races at The Point (Needham and Shoreline Drive), where paddlers showcase strength, speed, and sportsmanship on the water.

That Friday evening, community members, athletes, and families are invited to a special feast and jam session at the Snuneymuxw Longhouse. Bring your drum and your songs for a powerful night of music and connection.

On Saturday, the stl'ul'iqulhew’t-hw (Kids Zone) will be packed with fun for the little ones, from bouncy castles and face painting to delicious snacks and nearby food trucks.

All weekend long, browse the Snuneymuxw Days Marketplace, where local makers, artists, and designers offer handmade treasures and unique finds. And don’t miss the event's Basketball Tournament and Soccer Tournament (new this year)!
