Nanaimo Aquatic Centre

The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre is home to one of the largest wave pools in western Canada and one of the island's busiest 50-metre pools. The NAC also features three waterslides, a lazy river, a tot pool a large hot tub, a sauna and a steam room. The centre is located within the Larry McNabb Sports Zone near the campus of Vancouver Island University. The NAC is also the site of one of the city's public weight rooms and includes an impressive collection of fitness equipment.
