This highly anticipated event will feature award-winning student groups from Nanaimo alongside two of the most exciting performers in the jazz scene: Alexander Claffy on bass and Benny Benack III on trumpet and vocals. Nanaimo’s own John Lee will be joining Alexander and Benny on bass.

Alexander Claffy is a highly acclaimed bassist, composer, and bandleader who has performed with some of the biggest names in jazz. He has been praised for his exceptional technical skill and his ability to infuse every performance with soulful energy and passion.

Benny Benack III is a multi-talented musician, equally skilled as a trumpeter and a vocalist. He has been hailed as one of the most promising young jazz artists on the scene today, with a dynamic and engaging style that is sure to captivate audiences.
