Have you ever wanted to take flight in an airplane, learn about aircraft maintenance, or see the inner workings of an airport?

Alkan Air, Elevate Aviation, elbird aero, Gulf Island Seaplanes, Indigenous LIFT Collective, and YCD – Nanaimo Airport are hosting an Aviation day on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at YCD – Nanaimo Airport.

This free event is an opportunity for Indigenous Youth and Adults (aged 15 – 39) to come to the Nanaimo Airport to learn about the wonders and opportunities in the field of aviation. Lunch will be provided.

• Aviation 101 – Flight school and careers
