Community Events Kit
The City of Nanaimo, Parks, Recreation and Culture, in partnership with PacificSport Vancouver Island and Tourism Nanaimo, is pleased to offer the Community Event Equipment Loan Program The program provides local sporting organizations and organizers a one-stop solution for event hosting.
The program is designed to assist organizers in hosting quality events whether it is a BC championship or a community festival. It will provide event organizers an affordable option to easily access the tools and equipment necessary to host a successful event.
The Community Event Equipment Loan Program contains items that can be reserved for your event.
Items include: portable tents, portable PA system, folding tables, 2 way radios, first aid kit, safety vests, Coleman generator, tool kit, stop watches, water coolers, road pylons, rope and cordless drill.
The event equipment will be housed at Tourism Nanaimo in the Visitor Information Centre and may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
