Welcome to the 10th annual Nanaimo lakes derby. We will again be based out of Nanaimo Lakes Old Mill Campground June 6th to 8th 2025, site number for registration tba. As with past year’s the derby will start Fri (June 6th) at 12 noon until final weigh in at 11am June 8th. We will do weigh ins beginning Friday (June 6th) from 4pm to 6pm, Saturday (June 7th) from 10am to 4pm and Sunday from 9am to 10:30am with prizes to be handed out at 11am. Don’t forget we also have our campsite theme again this year with the theme being ‘Campsite Choice’ (please remember to keep it family friendly) your allowed 25$ to spend per campsite and anything from your house to decorate with. Please remember that there is no garbage disposal at the lakes so pack out what you pack in. We will also be doing the pot luck dinner on Saturday at my campsite complete with Live stand up comedy from none other than Nanaimo’s own funny man himself Peter Hudson. I strive to make this as much fun as possible for all ages please feel free to share to your family and friends have them come out and try to find our hidden squirrel or maybe your after the hidden fish?
